A LIVE VIRTUAL WRITING WORKSHOP
WRITE A LETTER
TO YOUR EX
For everything you wanted to say, almost said, definitely should not text,
OCTOBER 14 · 6:00 PM CT · ZOOM · $44
Wait, what are we
actually doing?
01
SHOW UP
Join live on Zoom. Bring your laptop, notebook, favorite pen, beverage, emotional-support blanket, whatever. You don't need to prepare anything.
02
GET THE PROMPTS
Michelle guides the group past Dear CHAD... and into the things you actually want to say. Some prompts will be funny. Some might sting a little. Hence the name.
03
write
There will be actual writing time. This is not an hour of slides explaining the concept of journaling. You are going to write, babe.
04
sHARE, IF YOU WANT
Read the whole thing. Read one sentence. Share something hilarious or devastating. Or share absolutely nothing. You are allowed to simply be there.
You know
the letter.
The one that’s been sitting in your chest for months.
The one you won’t even share with your girlfriends.
The one that starts with, “what the fuck were you thinking?”
YOU DON'T HAVE
TO SEND IT
FOR IT TO MATTER.
actually please don't lol
A few things this
is NOT:
Not therapy.
Not group coaching.
Not a breakup support group. All though if you know of a good one lmk
Not four hours of talking about attachment styles. It would take longer lol
Not telling you whether you should get back together. Because you shouldn’t
Not everyone crying to acoustic music while someone burns sage over Zoom. We would obviously burn palo santo
And definitely not an excuse to text your ex afterward. but we can talk about it
It's a writing
workshop
come if…
you still occasionally rehearse arguments in the shower from a relationship that ended three years ago
you have an email sitting in drafts that you’re ready to send at any moment
you dated someone so confusing you basically have a PhD in attachment theory
you want an excuse to write
you like hearing other people's break up stories
you're curious what happens when you stop trying to “be the bigger person”
IF You have ever thought:
“I never got the closure I deserved…"
You're invited.
you don't even miss them anymore, but they were really stupid and they need to be reminded of it
Hi, I'm Michelle.
I got ghosted and created an entire show around it.
If you think that’s petty, you’re right.
