It starts with a letter.

To an ex. A parent. Someone you lost. Someone you love. A younger version of yourself. Someone who will probably never hear it.

• This Might Hurt A Little is a live show where people take the stage and read the letters they never sent. But the letter is only the beginning. Because when someone gets up in front of a room and says the thing they’ve been carrying, something happens. You recognize yourself in a life that looks nothing like yours. You laugh at something you probably shouldn’t. You hear someone put words to a feeling you’ve never known how to explain. There are no winners. There’s nothing to prove. Just people telling the truth and other people there to hear it. Some of it hurts. A lot of it is funny. And somehow, you leave feeling a little less alone.
